There are many tuneable light sources on the market which can be adjusted using various protocols. One of these protocols is RDM. This protocol is mainly used to transmit various settings to the power supply unit of the light source. The problem is that for microcontrollers only the “slave” side protocol is implemented as a function library. The aim of this project is to implement the “master” side RDM protocol as a library for an Arduino development card which can be later used to adjust the settings of an RDM compatible power supply.
