Our Task in the Project

Development of a solid state light source which has an optimized spectral power distribution respect to energy efficiency using colour fidelity and colour preference. Under energy efficiency we mean not only the electrical efficiency but also the work efficiency of the given work fi eld.

Results

Using viewing both experiments we investigated brightness perception differences for the spectral power distributions seen in the figure below.

Further Tasks

We need to design real size experiments where we can use an eye-tracking device to investigate the effect of the different spectral power distributions on pupil diameter. In the figure below we can see a possible eye-tracking experiment setup.
